1. Mt. Tammany Summit

We decided to begin at the highest point in The Poconos! This is the place to go if you want to take a picture where you’re in the middle of nature and appear to be a tiny blob among the mountains, which is our favorite kind of shot! 

This shot comes with a cost, though… You will need to hike there; it won’t be simple or uncrowned. Trek up to this place to fill your gallery with pictures filled with gorgeous sunsets and the best views! 

2. Big Poconos State Park

Looking for the #sunsetforlife picture? How about a stunning view without having to hike? The Big Pocono is the greatest. The best part is that getting there is SO simple. Instant view happens as soon as you drive up, park in the garage, and BOOM! You can actually deceive all of your followers into thinking that you hiked far and wide to capture this image when, in reality, you are only a few steps from your vehicle.

This 1305.6-acre State Park is almost where dreams are made of. The lush greenery and almost magical sunsets attract visitors like flies to honey!

3. Top of the Delaware Water Gap

This location is the most beautiful one in Pennsylvania. Everything from a flowing river to mountains to beautiful woodlands can be found at the summit of the Delaware Water Gap—everything your Instagram could want. We are taken back to one of the most tranquil places we have ever been whenever we see this picture. Honestly, we had SO MANY “this is where dreams are made of” moments and we are sure that you will too. 

4. Mountain Laurel Resort

Picture this. Beautiful, lush greenery sprawled across, a great bar, pools and views that your Instagram would kill for. Well, that’s Mountain Laurel Resort for you. With great views and delicious food served with pride and love, this resort is one of the most aesthetic resorts that you could find.

5. Downtown Jim Thorpe

The most picturesque town in all of Pennsylvania is hidden deep within the Lehigh Gorge. This village is full of small-town charm, history, and natural beauty. With claims to being “The Gateway to The Poconos’ ‘ and “The Switzerland of America,” you’ll feel as though you’ve just entered Stars Hollow, complete with a gazebo. Take a photo as you go down the street, or just capture the cute houses or your coffee. In this town, there isn’t a single thing that isn’t Instagram-worthy.

6. Bushkill Falls

One of the best spots to take pictures in the Pocono Mountains is Bushkill Falls, also known as “The Niagara of Pennsylvania.” Not only one, but eight lovely waterfalls can be found here! Four complicated hiking trails and a number of quaint wooden bridges that will look great on your feed connect the waterfalls. Bushkill Falls has 300 acres of forest to explore, a mini-golf course, paddle boat rentals, fishing, and two exhibits in addition to its falling waters.
